What is a Bivy?

A bivy Sack, otherwise known by its full name, “Bivounce Sack” is a personal size water proof shelter.

A small lightweight alternative to carrying a tent.

HOW DOES A RADIANT BIVY WORK?

By retaining 95% of the infrared energy/heat the body produces.

HOW ARE MAD SURVIVAL BIVYS DIFFERENT THAN MYLAR?

MAD uses material that is engineered and WILL NOT rip after a puncture. Its tensile strength provides a superior radiant barrier when challenged with abrasive surfaces.

MAD’s unique design provides versatility. Please see ” SPORTING BIVY”

Our BIVY is not like Mylar Bivys or emergency blankets that once punctured or ripped it gets thrown away. The thermal envelope is compromised and it becomes defective. Mylar is not strong enough to use repeatedly on rough surfaces such as
homeless conditions or the less than hospitable surfaces in the backcountry.

WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE A MAD SURVIVAL BIVY?

Proactive planning for you or someone you love.
Help a Homeless Veteran or Person in Need.

CAN I PURCHASE AN 'URBAN BIVY' TO DONATE?

Yes, you can purchase an ‘ URBAN BIVY ‘… and MAD will match that donation the same as purchasing a ‘ SPORTING BIVY ‘

Wonderful product! I have watched Richard work on this project for over 2 years. The wife and I have them in our car. Although we have never used them it gives us peace of mind to know they are there. We travel back and forth from Idaho to California multiple times a year in all kinds of weather. Living in California you never know when a wildfire or earthquake may happen! I am a retired California firefighter with over 35 years on the job and an avid hunter. I do believe a MAD Bivy could save a life!

Yo! I moved to Boise two weeks ago and have been sleeping in my truck till I get a few paychecks so I tried out the bivy sack last night! Holy crap it made such a difference! The only part of me that was still cold was my knee because it was pressed against the bivy and the back of my seat. It was probably 20 degrees last night and I was sleeping like a baby! Amazing product, 10/10 would recommend!
